While social media does have its good sides, like simply keeping in touch with distant friends and family, it has taken over much of our lives. According to a study by Hootsuite there are 4.7 billion social media users; on average those users spend 2.5 hours a day scrolling a social network.
Thoughts affect everything. Each day what goes through your mind will affect your mood, health, activity, stress levels, and the list goes on. So why do we not make a more conscious effort to keep happy thoughts on a regular basis?
Small businesses are incredibly important to the economy, both local and international. So, whether it is “Small Business Saturday” or not, shop local, work local, love your community.
